  4. Hello, I was at the first day Of the Country Living Fair. When they passed out the recipe for your homemade butter. They ran out of recipe's and I did not get one. Could you please include that recipe on your blog, for those of us that did not get a recipe card? Thanks.

    1. Hi!! Thanks so much for writing, however, my presentation on the first day was "Salted Caramel Pecan Turtle Bars"... I think the lovely ladies just before me did a butter presentation that would be: Tricia at The Seasoned Farmhouse. She can be reached via this link: http://www.theseasonedfarmhouse.com/ Good luck, I hope you find the recipe you are searching for!! Best, Karri

  5. It was amazing to watch you demo your pecan pie today. On the way home, I ordered Penzey's spices and vanilla. Tonight I have ordered the drip catcher pan (which was $5 off before the coupon). I am now contemplating trying to order lard from Jungle Jim's. You were an inspiration and a half!!

I hope that your pies turn out wonderfully -- I have no doubt that you will do great, I will be rooting for you. Be sure to check in after the West Virginia State Fair... 2. I have been on a search for first place ribbons for the WV Pumpkin Festval and have found 87 of them. I have won several blue ribbons from our county fair, but don't know how many of them I have saved. They would be in the attic with the patriotic decorations, so it will be summer before I drag those boxes out. I now have a goal to see if I can collect 100. What an inspiration you have been!! Btw, I just saw your pumpkin fudge recipe and plan to try it soon. If you should ever have a chance to do so, Google pumpkin fudge or Southern Living 2005 and check out my pumpkin fudge recipe. Happy baking!!! Fall is such an amazing time to bake!!!
